Whatagraph launched two AI features in January 2025 under the Whatagraph IQ banner: an AI chatbot that answers questions about your connected marketing data, and AI Summaries that generate plain-language performance narratives directly inside your reports. AI-generated report summaries have a reputation for being vague and slightly embarrassing to send to clients. These land better than that — they're grounded in your actual connected data, not generic filler.

AI Summaries

The Summaries feature reads your report data and outputs structured commentary — you choose the format: Summary, Wins, Issues, or Recommendations. Summaries are generated in 18 languages, based directly on your connected data sources (no hallucinations, since the AI only references what's in the report). You can edit the output before sharing.

For agencies managing 20+ client accounts, the time math is simple: writing performance commentary for each report is slow, repetitive, and the part most likely to get rushed or skipped. AI Summaries handles the first draft. You still review and edit before sending — and you should — but the blank-page problem on routine client reports basically disappears.

AI Chatbot

The chatbot lets you ask questions about your marketing data in plain language — "How much was spent last month?" or "Which campaigns are underperforming?" — and get instant answers based on your actual data sources and date ranges. You can also select from pre-written questions if you want a faster workflow.

Availability

Both features are live on paid Whatagraph plans. IQ+ — included in higher-tier plans — adds the ability to create custom dimensions, blends, and metrics through natural language prompts, which is the more technically impressive capability if your team is doing non-standard reporting setups.
